Teen Killed In Sheppard Shooting

The city’s latest murder victim is a 19-year-old man, identified by family as William Nathanson.

The teen was killed in a shooting on Sheppard Avenue West near Arleta Avenue around 10pm on November 22. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

His family says Nathanson died just days shy of his twentieth birthday

Police found several shell casings at the scene and witnesses reported seeing two men fleeing the area.

“It’s only a matter of time before you’re identified and arrested…rest assured you will be caught eventually,” said Toronto police Cst. Tony Vella.

A post-mortem exam is scheduled for Tuesday. Anyone with information is asked to contact (416) 222-TIPS (8477).
