Man Dies After Midday Shooting In East End

A man has died after he was shot multiple times inside an east-end apartment building Wednesday afternoon.
Officers received the call just after 2:30pm and found the victim, said to be 27 years old, in the hallway of a building at 1021 Birchmount Rd., near Eglinton.The man was reportedly shot four times, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
The man apparently had no vital signs when paramedics arrived and was pronounced dead on his way to Sunnybrook hospital. There’s no word yet on a suspect.
