Justin Bieber wins best international breakthrough act at Brit Awards

Only days after losing best breakthrough artist at the Grammys, Justin Bieber has walked away with best international breakthrough act at the Brit Awards.

The Brit Awards are seen as the U.K.’s version of the Grammy Awards.

Bieber thanked his U.K. fans during his acceptance speech, “I want to thank all my fans over here, you guys are amazing.”

Also nominated in the category were U.S. acts Bruno Mars, the cast of Glee, The National and Australian alternative rock group The Temper Trap.

Montreal rockers Arcade Fire, who won album of the year at the Grammys, won best international group and best international album for “The Suburbs.”

British boy band Take That opened the show at the O2 Arena in London.
