Fatal crash near Bolton

A 20-year-old Brampton man was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Bolton Monday morning.
The accident involving a Pontiac Sunfire and a GMC Sierra pickup truck, happened around 6:30am on Nashville Road, between Huntington Road and Highway 50. The area was closed down for the police investigation.
Investigators are trying to determine why the eastbound Sunfire crossed over the centre line. The driver was killed and his name isn’t being released.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 31-year-old Toronto man, received minor injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them. Authorities specifically want to talk to the driver of a Wonderbread truck who was traveling eastbound on Nashville Road and swerved to avoid the vehicles just moments before the collision.
