OPP charge four men with stunt driving in Whitby

WHITBY, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police have charged four men with stunt driving in Whitby, after receiving calls about several cars speeding on Highway 401 near Rougemount Drive Sunday afternoon.

The officers set up and stopped all four vehicles involved. Four men, all 19 or 20 years of age, were from Peel Region, and they were all charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

The offence carries an automatic seven day driver’s license suspension and a seven day vehicle impoundment.

The vehicles were all high-end sports cars. One had unauthorized plates and no insurance.
