A new ad campaign for a local radio station features hip-hop star Snoop Dogg reading fan mail from cue cards while sitting on a gold and red velvet throne.
The rapper, who rose to fame nearly 20 years ago with the release of his first album Doggystyle, filmed the spots for KiSS 92.5 in June at the Metropolitan Hotel.
“Dear KiSS 92.5, please stop sending cool hypnotic signals to my brain. I’m on to you. And I refuse to obey your commands. And no, I’m not crazy,” he says in one of the ads.
Snoop Dogg is also a television star, has endorsed dozens of products and has more than 3.5 million followers on Twitter.
