Whitby mill explosion sends two to hospital

Two people were hospitalized after an explosion at a steel mill in Whitby on Wednesday.
The blast occurred around 4:30 a.m. at Gerdau Ameristeel.
The injured workers suffered minor burns and the fire was extinguished within an hour.
Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is investigating.
