Man dies in collision at Steeles and Hwy 27

A 22-year-old man has died after a collision on Steeles Avenue just west of Highway 27.
Witnesses said a black Saturn car was going eastbound on Steeles when it slammed into and was wedged under a flatbed truck that was turning left.
The driver of the Saturn died as a result.
No one else was injured in the collision.
Police say witnesses reported the Saturn was travelling at a high rate of speed and weaving from lane to lane before the collision.
Rescue crews were able to pull the truck off the car and separated the vehicles.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation.
