LinkedIn lists the most common office pet peeves

Perhaps it is the receptionist with the offensive perfume, the project manager who fills up your inbox with useless e-mails or maybe it is the boss with the inappropriate jokes.

A survey conducted by LinkedIn lists the top office pet peeves and found that the number one peeve is fellow workers who do not own up to their actions.

Overly negative or gossipy coworkers are a major irritant, but Tyra  told 1310News another issue tops her list.

“Overly sensitive employees. If they don’t get invited to lunch they think it is personal.”

Stinky food in the office microwave is a big common complaint.

“If it smelled bad when you were cooking it at home, it’s going to smell even worse when you warm it up the next day,” Francesco told 1310News.

Another man told 1310News he believed microwave popcorn should be banned from the work place.

Heavy cologne users and obnoxious ringtones are also on the list.

One boss of an App company told 1310News he has a different complaint.

“My only pet peeve is when people get here late the punch out early.”

According to LinkedIn, the top five global office complaints are people not taking ownership for their actions, constant complainers, dirty common areas, starting meetings late or going long and people who don’t respond to emails.
