Shia LaBeouf beat up outside Vancouver bar

An alcohol-fueled street fight in Vancouver left Shia LaBeouf bruised this past weekend after an altercation broke out during a night out at a bar.

The Transformers star has a reputation for being hot-headed after being involved in several alcohol-related incidents in the past. He is currently in Vancouver shooting his latest film The Company You Keep with Stanley Tucci and Anna Kendrick.

LaBeouf was filmed outside of the Cinema Public House being punched to the ground by a shirtless man, getting up and staggering away. LaBeouf and another man had reportedly been removed from the bar at 12:30 p.m. Witnesses saw a man wanting to fight follow the actor out of the bar as he headed towards a cab.

A couple of bystanders came to LaBeouf’s aid after the fight, but he reportedly lashed out after the offer of help and had to be physically held back.

LaBeouf allegedly threatened to pull a knife.

Days after, the actor was spotted biking around Vancouver with apparent bruises to his jaw.

In July 2008, LaBeouf  was arrested for misdemeanor drunk driving after being involved in a car accident that resulted in him flipping his truck and crushing his hand in Los Angeles. This past February, the actor was in another physical altercation at Mad Bull’s Tavern in California.
