65-year-old struck by vehicle at Carlingview and Dixon

TORONTO, Ont. – A 65-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car at Carlingview Drive and Dixon Road.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m., Thursday.

Ambulance officials told 680News the man’s leg was broken in several places and he suffered cuts and gashes to his head.

There is word an off duty OPP officer was at the scene to help the man before police arrived.

Drivers can expect delays in the area while officers investigate.
