How to avoid (or cure) a New Year’s Eve hangover

There’s only one way to avoid a hangover, and it involves not drinking so much.
If you’re already past that point, Dr. Elaine Chin has some tips on curing your New Year’s Eve hangover (and no, it’s not a greasy breakfast).
Alcohol is a drug, Dr. Chin warned, and getting drunk is like an overdose.
“Alcohol circulates through your body and is broken down by the liver…when you get home, have water before you go to bed,” she said.
“Take a B-complex vitamin and magnesium to offset your symptoms, as well as aspirin.”
