Durham Police wrap up festive R.I.D.E. campaign

Durham Regional Police have wrapped up their seasonal R.I.D.E. campaign. and they are not too happy with the results.

A total of 155 people were charged with drinking and driving offences, up from 138 last year, beating the old record of 152 set in 2008.

Police stopped approximately 8,500 vehicles, and 573 people were given roadside breath tests.
