Air Canada reaches tenative agreement with workers

Air Canada has one less labour dispute to worry about. The airline has said it has reached a tentative agreement with its 8,600 mechanics, baggage handlers and cargo agents.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is Air Canada’s largest union.

The tentative deal comes one day after the union representing the airline’s pilots called for a strike vote.
