Toronto teacher charged with sexual exploitation

A Toronto teacher faces sexual exploitation charges following an incident at a Scarborough high school.

Durham Regional Police report Ira Young, 47, from Winston Churchill Collegiate, befriended the student while extending an invitation to his Pickering home for Thanksgiving.

Police allege the accused then made inappropriate sexual comments to the victim, who left the home.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or any other victims to come forward and call police.
