NEW YORK — Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has had surgery on his injured left knee, and posted a picture on Twitter of himself recovering in his hospital bed.
The Knicks say Lin had successful surgery on his chronic small meniscal tear in his left knee.
The procedure was performed by team orthopedist Dr. Answorth Allen at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Lin tweeted: “Praise God for a successful surgery…road to recovery! Lets goo. Much love to the fans for your support and kind words.”
He is expected to be out for about six weeks.
