“Bunny Ranch” owner says he’ll be scouting locations in Toronto

TORONTO, Ont. – The man who runs the most famous brothel in Nevada says he likes the idea of moving to Toronto.

Dennis Hof runs the Moonlite Bunny Ranch and he says Canadian officials came to him about expanding north of the border.

“A few weeks ago I spoke to a bunch of top executives from Toronto and that question came up so I started getting more curious and here we are. We’re going to do this,” he explained.

Hof told the Roz and Mocha show on KiSS 92.5, Wednesday morning, getting prostitutes and pimps off the street is a good thing.

“It’s a brutal business until you legalize it. It takes all the crime out of it, all the STD’s – or the majority of them – and all the drugs.”

He says the process of moving into Canada started about a year and a half ago and that he plans to look for locations in Toronto in June.

Hof added that if he set up a location the GTA he would run it himself.

In March, the Ontario Court of Appeal struck down the ban on brothels.

Parliament was given a year rewrite the law.
