A driver involved in a crash in the city’s west end Sunday morning was robbed of his cellphone while trying to make a call.
The man’s SUV collided with a station wagon at Keele and Eglinton avenues around 6 a.m.
That car — driven by nun on her way to church — then careened into a bus shelter.
Investigators told 680News when the man got out of his car, he gave his iPhone to a passerby who had offered to call police. The passerby then allegedly ran off with the phone.
There were no serious injuries, but both drivers were taken to hospital as a precaution.
