Torso found in Lake Ontario belongs to Guang Hua Liu: police

A human torso found in a suitcase floating in Lake Ontario belongs to Guang Hua Liu, police said.

An autopsy Thursday confirmed her identity.

Liu, 41, was reported missing to Toronto police on Aug. 11. She was last seen a day earlier with friends.

Her ex-boyfriend Chun Qi Jiang, 40, of Scarborough, has been charged with second-degree murder in her death.

The suitcase containing the badly decomposed torso was found by jet skiers near Bluffer’s Park in Scarborough on Wednesday morning.

Other body parts belonging to Liu were found scattered in Toronto and Mississauga in August.

Liu owned the licenced Forget Me Not Health Care spa on Eglinton Avenue near Kennedy Road in Scarborough.
