Man arrested in connection with attempted murder investigation

A 46-year-old man wanted for attempted murder is in police custody.
Police say Alejandro Ernesto Solano-Aguilera was located in the area of Peter Street and Queen Street West on Sunday and placed under arrest without incident.
The suspect was involved in a physical altercation with a 32-year-old man in the College Street and Spadina Avenue area on Saturday.
During the altercation, Solano-Aguilera allegedly stabbed the victim repeatedly in the neck and body.
The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Solano-Aguilera fled the scene on foot.
He will appear in court on Monday.
