Firefighters doused three truck fires in under two hours Tuesday morning.
Crews were called to the College Street and Spadina Avenue area around 4:30 a.m. to put out a small garbage fire inside a truck. No one was hurt.
Firefighters then had to deal with flames that broke out in the cab of a tractor-trailer in a parking lot near Jane Street and Steeles Avenue, across from the York University campus. No injuries were reported.
And around 6 a.m. firefighters doused a garbage truck fire on the ramp from Yonge Street to the eastbound Highway 401. The flames broke out in a load of cardboard. The driver dumped the contents on the road and crews managed to put out the flames quickly.
No one was hurt in that fire.
