Ryan Gosling to take a break from acting: report

Superstar Canadian actor Ryan Gosling may be taking a break from acting, telling website The Huffington Post, “I’ve been doing it too much.”

Gosling, who rose to fame with The Notebook and was last seen in Crazy, Stupid, Love, was promoting his upcoming movie The Place Beyond The Pines.

“I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing. I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it,” Gosling told The Huffington Post on Wednesday.

“And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does.”

Gosling, 32, got his start on The Mickey Mouse Club and later appeared in Canadian productions Breaker High (a high school on a boat) and Young Hercules (it was about a young Hercules).
