2nd suspect arrested in west-end bank robbery and shooting

TORONTO – A second suspect has been arrested in the brazen west-end bank robbery in which a bank teller and a customer were shot.
Lenroy Jackson, 27, of Toronto faces nine charges including attempted murder and robbery with a firearm.
He was arrested just after midnight Wednesday.
The first suspect, Andre Palmer, 26, of Brampton, was arrested on Monday and faces numerous charges including attempted murder.
On Sunday, police responded to a call for an armed bank robbery at the TD Canada Trust bank, located at Runnymede Road and St. Clair Avenue West.
On Monday, police had released dramatic security video of the two suspects robbing the bank. The Canadian Bankers Association also issued a $100,000-reward.
