The sold out show got underway at 8 p.m.
The highly-anticipated tour will then head to New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vancouver, followed by six other cities. The tour ends in Miami on Aug. 16.
For any music fan, this was epic as two of the biggest stars in the music business were together on one stage.
