Toronto Premium Outlets opens in Halton Hills

The grand opening for Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills was held Thursday morning.

The designer outlet mall on Steeles Avenue West, near Trafalgar Road and Highway 401, has 85 stores, including Coach, Calvin Klein and DKNY.

There was a line of shoppers waiting for the doors to open at the outlet, which opened with an official ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. on Thursday.

The discount outlet is a 50-50 joint venture with Simon Property Group Inc. and Calloway.

Shoppers were promised special discounts for the outlet centre’s grand opening this long weekend.
