PEI Premier admits to smoking marijuana

Another Premier has joined the growing crowd of admitted marijuana users.
Prince Edward Island Premier Robert Ghiz has confirmed he smoked marijuana when he was younger.
Earlier this week, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne while Mayor Rob Ford admitted to at one point smoking pot.
Last week federal Liberal leader Justin Trudeau admitted to sharing a joint with friends three years ago , while he was an Member of Parliament.
Ghiz did not go so far as to say he supports the position, but did say it is an issue worthy of debate because “what’s happening now is not working.”
Ghiz joked that he has been expecting to be asked about whether he has tried pot for the last 10 years, especially since he took over as leader of the provincial Liberal party when he was only 29 years old.
