Vaughan’s deputy mayor Gino Rosati’s motion to scrap plans for a casino has been defeated by city council.
Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and OLG president Rod Phillips are scheduled to speak at an information session, Wednesday, hosted by the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.
The Vaughan council is the GTA’s only local government to support the plan for a casino.
