Pickering man wanted in connection with Brampton shooting

Police are searching for a 34-year-old Pickering man wanted in connection with a shooting at a Brampton banquet hall.
Around 3:45 a.m. on Dec. 14 police were called to the Throne Banquet Hall and nightclub on Advance Boulevard, near Dixie Road and Steeles Avenue East, where they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Sunnybrook hospital where police say he underwent surgery for life-threatening injuries.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Dwayne Locksley Campbell for attempted murder.
Campbell is described as black, five-foot-eleven-inches tall, 195 pounds with a medium build and police say he may be driving a white, 2013 BMW four-door sedan with Ontario License BSAF258.
Police say he may be in possession of a firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees Campbell is being told not to approach him and to call 9-11 immediately.
