Man shot dead in Vaughan plaza

A man is dead after a daylight shooting at a plaza at Colossus Drive and Weston Road in Vaughan, near Highway 7.
Police were called to the scene, outside a Homesense store, at 4:30 p.m.
The victim was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital where he died.
York police say multiple shots were fired but that it is too soon in the investigation to determine if the victim was targetted.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
Police are looking for a grey car witnesses spotted leaving the parking lot before police arrived.
Investigators spoke with businesses surrounding the shooting and have collected any security video which may have captured the shooting.
