Toronto police investigate 2 Scarborough sexual assaults

Toronto police are investigating two sexual assaults in Scarborough.
The first incident happened early Thursday morning, near McCowan Road and McNicoll Avenue, when a 54-year-old woman was followed off a TTC bus and attacked.
Siming Tan, a 21-year-old man, is facing several charges including choking, aggravated sexual assault and robbery.
The second happened around 6:20 p.m. Thursday near Finch Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, when a 16-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a man in a stairwell of an apartment building.
The suspect is a white man, who the police say is heavy set, six feet tall, approximately 25-30 years old, with a slight beard and moustache. Police said he was wearing a white T-shirt, a black sweater, black shorts and sunglasses which have a black and white leopard print on the sides.
