The nominees for the 57th annual GRAMMY Awards are being announced throughout the day Friday.
Most nominees will be announced via Twitter videos throughout the day by various artists and celebrities.
Musician, producer and rapper Pharrell and musician Ed Sheeran announced the nominees for four categories on morning TV on Friday morning.
The Record of the Year nominees are: Fancy by Iggy Azalea Ft Charli XCX, Chandelier by Sia, Stay With Me (DarkchildVersion) by Sam Smith, Shake It Off by Taylor Swift and All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor.
The Best Pop Vocal Album nominees are Ghost Stories by Coldplay, Bangerz by Miley Cyrus, My Everything by Ariana Grande, Prism by Katy Perry, x by Ed Sheeran and In The Lonely Hour by Sam Smith.
The Best Country Album nominees are Riser by Dierks Bentley, The Outsiders by Eric Church, 12 Stories by Brandy Clark, Platinum by Miranda Lambert and The Way I’m Livin’ by Lee Ann Womack.
The Best Urban Contemporary Album nominees are Sail Out by Jhene Aiko, Beyonce by Beyonce, X by Chris Brown, Mali Is… by Mali Music and Girl by Pharrell Williams.
“We don’t want to like, geek out in front of everybody. This is national TV,” Pharrell said when his own nomination was announced.
The Best Rap Performance nominees include 0 to 100/The Catch Up by Canadian rapper Drake, 305 by Childish Gambino, Rap God by Eminem, i by Kendrick Lamar and All I Need Is You by Lecrae.
The Best New Artist nominees are Bastille, Iggy Azalea, Brandy Clark, Haim and Sam Smith.
The nominees for Song of the Year are Chandelier by Sia, All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor, Shake It Off by Taylor Swift, Stay With Me (Darkchild Version) by Sam Smith and Take Me to Church by Hozier.
The Best Alternative Music Album nominees are This Is All Yours by alt-J, Reflektor by Arcade Fire, Melophobia by Cage the Elephant, St. Vincent by St. Vincent and Lazaretto by Jack White.

The final and top nomination — Album of the Year — will be announced during a TV special A Very GRAMMY Christmas, airing on Friday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on City.
