Convicted criminal a no-show at Windsor halfway house; could be in Toronto

Ontario provincial police are on the lookout for a convicted criminal who is in breach of parole.

Police say Frank Peter Spagnola, 55, was released from a jail in Kingston on Monday. He was supposed to stay a halfway house in Windsor but did not arrive. Instead, it appears he purchased a bus ticket for Toronto.

Spagnola has several convictions for break-and-enter, fraud, assaults, drugs, and manslaughter in 1998. Police said there is a high risk that he will re-offend.

He is five-feet four-inches tall, 196 pounds with a shaved head and a light-coloured goatee. He wears glasses and has numerous tattoos, including Garfield on his left arm and an eagle on his right arm.

Spagnola is known to frequent the Kingston, Barrie, Windsor, Toronto, Guelph, Hamilton, Orangeville, Oshawa, Oakville, Peterborough, Brantford, and Bracebridge areas.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts to call them.
