Man stabbed outside LCBO near Bloor and Ossington

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in front of an LCBO on Bloor Street West near Ossington Avenue Sunday afternoon.
Authorities have not revealed the identity of the victim, but reports are that he was not seriously injured.
The attack took place shortly after 3 p.m. outside the LCBO at 879 Bloor St. W., just steps from the Bloor Street and Ossington Avenue intersection.
Witnesses say the assailant confronted an employee of the liquor store who was helping a customer carry out a purchase. The victim tried to intervene, and was stabbed.
The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle and was last seen in the area of Carling Street, a short distance from the crime scene. He is described as a black man, between 25 and 30 years of age, approximately six foot six, with a short box-cut hair.
When last seen, the he was wearing a red T-shirt with a small white Adidas logo, red shorts, and black running shoes with white laces, and was carrying a black backpack.
Toronto police have asked the public to call Crime Stoppers if they see the suspect, and warn that he should not be approached.
