Another person had been shot before police arrived.

Both the officer and the victim have since been released from hospital. Police say there was a second victim found on Stokes Road, but also said the person was not injured.

Christopher Osborne, 25, of Toronto, and Tyrel Nicholson, 23, also of Toronto, have both been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of kidnapping, and numerous firearms-related offences.

Investigators continue to search for another suspect, and are asking him to contact a lawyer and surrender to police. Police are not releasing a description of that suspect, and they won’t say if they know who they’re looking for.

A third person was arrested and charged with an offence that was separate to the shooting itself. That person was a young offender and police won’t be releasing any information about that investigation, including what the alleged offence is.

Police also said they won’t be releasing any more details about the alleged kidnapping.
