By The Canadian Press

Provincial police are investigating a fatal crash in Norfolk County.

They say it took place on Thursday night, close to 10 p.m. OPP say a pick-up truck was travelling down a road when the driver lost control, entered a field and rolled over.

Police say the female driver suffered life-threatening injuries after being partially ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

A 20-year-old man who was a passenger in the pick-up was thrown from the vehicle and taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Police say speed, alcohol and failure to wear seat belts are being considered as contributing factors in the crash.
