No threat found after building at York U evacuated

Police have determined that a “unattended briefcase” found at York University Monday afternoon did not pose a threat to safety.
The case was found in Vari Hall located near York Boulevard and Keele Street. The building was evaculated as a precaution as police investigated.
The school cancelled classes scheduled in Vari Hall until 7 p.m.
