Toronto man charged with manslaughter after assault victim dies

A 30-year-old Toronto man has been arrested and charged with manslaughter following the death of a Pickering man.

According to police, Kenneth Oxley died on March 1, just a week after being injured in a serious assault on Feb. 22. Police say the cause of death is the direct result of the alleged assault.

Andre Miller was arrested on March 7 in connection to the assault. He has been charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault and carrying a concealed weapon.
