Man in life-threatening condition after stabbing near Church and Gerrard

A man in his 20’s is in life-threatening condition in hospital following a downtown stabbing.
Police were called to a scene on McGill Street near Church Street and Gerrard Street East just after 7:30 p.m. They say a man suffered serious stab wounds to his stomach after being attacked by an unknown number of assailants.
No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions have been released but police are hopeful that several security cameras in the area may have captured the attack and help them to identify suspects.
Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
