Motorcyclist killed in Rexdale crash

A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Rexdale on Friday evening.
Police said the motorcyclist was travelling eastbound on Rexdale Boulevard, just east of Highway 427 at around 6:30 p.m. when he was involved in a single vehicle crash. He ended up in the westbound lanes of the road where he was struck by a transport truck.
The motorcyclist, believed to be in his mid-20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
