Waterloo man killed in plane crash near University of Guelph

Wellington County OPP are investigating after a pilot died in a plane crash late Saturday afternoon.
The ultralight plane crashed into a forested area near Guelph Air Park Airport around 3:45 p.m.
Guelph fire and OPP were called to the Cooks Mill Road and Watson Parkway area of Puslinch Township, which is just south of the airport and east of the University of Guelph.
Police said the lone occupant of the aircraft was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Transportation Safety Board says it has dispatched a team to the scene to begin its investigation.
Alfred Brunger, 63, of Waterloo, was killed in the crash, OPP said Sunday.
