By News Staff

Toronto police have released security images of a man suspected of threatening a TTC bus driver with a knife.

In a release, police said a passenger became irate and began causing a disturbance just before 8 p.m on Oct. 21. The bus was in the Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue East area at the time.

When the driver attempted to call dispatch for help, police allege the man pulled out a knife and cut the radio cord. He then threatened the driver with the knife before fleeing, police said.

The suspect is described as 25-30 years old, five-foot-six, with a medium build. He was wearing a grey hoodie and black vest with dark-grey cargo pants and a black toque with red-and-white stripes.

If you see him call police immediately and don’t approach him, as police warn he is considered armed and dangerous.
