A 33-year-old man accused of making a fake terror threat against a Toronto landmark will be back in court on Thursday.

Toronto police say they became aware of “alleged terrorist threats identifying a Toronto landmark and people as targets” on Sunday.

The threats were posted online and court documents show the landmark was the CN Tower.

According to police, the online post threatened bodily harm and death, targeting the tourist spot and an event.

Connor Merzetti was arrested on Monday and charged with uttering threats and hoax regarding terrorist activity.

His first court appearance was on Monday. He was expected to appear in court Wednesday for a bail hearing, but that has been pushed over to Thursday.
