Driver dies after truck crashes into hydro pole in Acton

A man has been killed in a truck crash in Acton.

OPP said it happened around 6 a.m. on Tuesday on Highway 7 between Dublin Line and Crewsons Line.

Const. Kerry Schmidt said the small, commercial truck struck a hydro pole, killing the driver.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Reconstruction crews are on scene to try to determine what caused the crash.

Halton police have closed the highway for the investigation.
