Victim identified, man charged in Brampton homicide

Peel police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide investigation into the death of a man in Brampton.
Police say they were called to Middleton Way and MacKay Street near Bovaird Drive East around 2 p.m. on Sunday.
When officers arrived they found the victim with obvious signs of trauma and he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have identified the victim as 46-year-old Valentino Pauletto from Brampton. A cause of death has not been revealed at this time.
A 36-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested later in the day and charged with accessory after the fact to murder. John Albert Lopez appeared at a Brampton court for a bail hearing on Monday.
Police are asking anyone with additional information regarding the investigation to contact them.
