Man killed in drive-by shooting in Rexdale

A man in his 30s has died after what police are describing as a drive-by shooting in Rexdale.
Police were called to a plaza on Martin Grove Road and John Garland Boulevard following reports of three or four gunshots being fired.
When they arrived they found a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and began performing CPR.
He was taken to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition, where he later died.
Police told 680 NEWS the victim was walking with his girlfriend to a pizza shop in the plaza when a car pulled up and a gunman opened fire.
Witnesses told police a newer model silver car was seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.
No suspect description has been released.
