Man injured in hit-and-run near Dufferin and St. Clair

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene after reports of a man lying in the road in the Dufferin Street and St. Clair Avenue area just after 4:30 a.m.
Police determined the man had been hit by a vehicle, which had fled the scene.
The victim, who didn’t have any identification on him, was rushed to hospital.
Police said the vehicle is believed to be a white Honda Civic or Accord.
The intersection has been closed while police investigate.
