A man is facing charges after he allegedly held two women against their will.
On Friday, police were called to an apartment building the area of Bleecker and Earl streets just before noon after reports of a sexual assault.
When officers arrived on scene they found a woman being held against her will.
She was taken to hospital. There has been no word on her condition.
Later that same day Wallace Walter Pleasant, 59, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement.
After appearing in court, Pleasant was released on his own recognizance.

Pleasant was arrested at the scene and, once again, charged with forcible confinement. He was also charged with two counts of assault and assault causing bodily harm.
He appeared in court on Wednesday morning.
