Woman, 77, killed in Whitby crash

A 77-year-old woman has died after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 7 in Whitby.
Provincial police were called to the scene around 11:30 to Highway 7, also known as Winchester Road, at Ferguson Avenue.
The woman, who was driving the sedan, was taken to hospital without vital signs and pronounced dead shortly after.
Two others in the van suffered minor injuries.
The collision reconstruction team is on the scene and Highway 7 is closed between Highway 12 and Ashburn Road.
