Man shot at midtown Toronto gas station dies in hospital

A 32-year-old man who was shot at a gas station in midtown Toronto earlier this month has died in hospital.
Toronto police said Nashwan Yonan, from Toronto, passed away on Thursday. He is the city’s 16th homicide victim of the year.
Around 12:15 a.m. on March 8, police said Yonan was in his vehicle at a gas station in the area of Avenue Road and Eglinton Avenue West, when another person fired several shots at him.
A gun was recovered from the victim’s vehicle.
Police have not provided a suspect description.
