By News staff

A 50-year-old motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with a truck in the city’s northwest end.

The collision occurred at Black Creek Drive and Lawrence Avenue West just before 11 a.m. Monday.

The motorcyclist has pelvic injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.

A passenger on the motorcycle, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital as a precaution. His injuries are not life threatening.

The intersection is closed, as well as the eastbound and westbound 401 and southbound 400 ramps to Black Creek.

Police say it’s too soon to say who had the right of way before the crash happened.
